1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Highland Heritage Club website and services, operated by Catapult Digital. By accessing our site, purchasing a membership, or adopting a Highland cow, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Our Service

Highland Heritage Club offers virtual adoption memberships for Scottish Highland cattle. Memberships include digital content such as photos, farm updates, adoption certificates, and behind-the-scenes videos delivered via email and our members-only portal. All content is delivered digitally unless otherwise specified.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or continuing to use our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you warrant that you have authority to bind that organization.

4. Account & Credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our service. Prohibited activities include: unlawful use; fraud or spam; infringement of intellectual property rights; security interference (including malware, probing, or scraping); reverse engineering; resale or redistribution of membership content; and circumvention of any technical limits.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including photographs, videos, branding, software, and documentation — is owned by Catapult Digital and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your membership grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

7. Payment, Billing & Subscriptions

Payments for memberships and gift subscriptions are processed by our online reseller, Paddle. All payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

Merchant of Record: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscription memberships renew automatically at the frequency selected at checkout unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting Paddle support.

8. Service Level

We strive to provide uninterrupted, error-free service, but we do not guarantee that our website or content delivery will always be available, timely, secure, or error-free. Occasionally, maintenance or technical issues may affect access.

9. Warranties & Liability

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is limited to the total fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages except where prohibited by law.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these terms; non-payment; security or fraud risk; or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to access member content ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
